  • Fees are based on your company type. Here’s how NRF determines which pass/fees you qualify for.

Where can I stay for NRF 2024?

  • NRF strongly recommends attendees only deal with our official NRF 2024 housing provider, OnPeak. You get added benefits, including:

What is the refund policy?

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Requests received by December 22, 2023, will receive a full refund. No refunds for requests received after December 22, 2023, regardless of when the registration is received. Non-attendance does not
    constitute cancellation.

How do I become a speaker at NRF 2024?

  • Using a rigorous vetting process, NRF continually seeks a diverse set of forwardthinking speakers with out-of-the-box ideas, proven tactics, and actionable proof points. NRF prioritizes speaker applicants who: are senior-level to C-suite executives; can organically engage with the audience on a deeper level; are from strong, cutting edge, retail brands and parallel industries; no vendor pitches will be accepted.
  • NRF starts to secure speakers nine to 12 months ahead of each event. Though we review applicants on a rolling basis, we recommend applying as early as possible.

NRF 2024 Safety Policy

Where is First Aid?

  • The Javits Center has two assigned first aid stations that will be open during show hours: Medical facilities are located on Level 1, 1D corridor and Level 2, Atrium, North Javits. Both locations will have a nurse or EMT-Ps on duty. The Command Center responds to all medical and non-medical emergencies. Dial 212-216-2222 from a cell phone for emergencies. Give your name, type of emergency and the exact location of the incident (be as specific as possible). The Javits Command Center also monitors fire safety and all other safety features of the Center on a 24-hour basis.

Can I fly a drone around NRF 2024?

  • No, drones are not allowed inside the Javits Center or at NRF 2024.

Can I bring my kids?

  • You must be 18+ years old to attend NRF 2024. There are no child care services.

Can you page someone for me?

  • There is no PA system available inside the Javits.

What do I do if I find/lose something?

  • Javits Concierge Desk will serve as Lost & Found throughout NRF 2024. The desk is in the Crystal Palace next to the New York State Welcome Center. There will be someone at the desk Sunday – Tuesday 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

What are the security expectations at NRF 2024?

  • The safety and security of our attendees, including exhibitors, vendors, and staff, is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local, and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them, and develop security plans.
  • Everyone attending NRF 2024 should be aware that the following are in place:
    • Everyone must wear their NRF 2024 badge at all times. This includes attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, volunteers, speakers, and press.
    • CCTV is in operation at our events and is both monitored and recorded.
    • Uniformed and covert Security Guards and Police are in attendance at our event.
    • Canine Security and Detection is in operation at our event.
  • Everyone attending NRF 2024 is requested to:
    • Keep personal property with you at all times and don't leave any items unattended
    • Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious, or out of place to NRF 2024 Staff or Security
    • Remain patient and courteous with NRF 2024 Staff and Security undertaking security checks
    • Follow the instructions of NRF 2024 Staff at all times
    • Carry a recognized form of photo ID at all times

What if I'm harassed?

  • If a person engages in harassing behavior, NRF 2024 (NRF 2024) Staff or Security will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, including expulsion from NRF 2024 with no refund. Our policy applies to EVERYONE at the event including attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, volunteers, speakers, press and security are all subject to our Anti-Harassment Policy.

What if I get hurt?

  • If you're hurt reach out to the NRF 2024 Staff or Security and we'll get you the help you need.

Where can I find the session schedule?

  • All sessions are listed in the Agenda section of the NRF 2024 website.

Will sessions be available on demand?

  • Exhibitor Big Ideas and Foodservice Tech session videos will be available for viewing (per speaker consent) on the NRF 2024 website approximately 48 hours after they take place.

Where are the Exhibitor Big Ideas Rooms (Expo stages 1-5)?

  • Stages 1-2 are on Expo, Level 1.
  • Stages 3-5 are on Expo, Level 3.

Are sessions being translated?

  • Keynote, Featured, Partner Perspective and Supply Chain 360 sessions have Portuguese interpretation available with headset rental. Headset rental can be added for a fee when registering for NRF 2024.

How do I rate a session?

  • Using the NRF Events Mobile App, navigate to the Agenda, then to the specific session you want to rate. At the bottom of the session page, click on the 'Polling and Q&A' button and complete the form.

Who can help troubleshoot my translation headset?

  • There will be two Headset Help Desk locations in Javits North: outside the Featured session rooms on Level 4 and outside the Keynote session room on Level 5.
  • Attendees can also go to the Interpretation counter in Registration, North Concourse, Level 2 for assistance.

Where can I view presentation slides?

  • Exhibitor Big Ideas sessions: Posted on the session page via the main Agenda.
  • Foodservice Tech sessions: Posted on the session page via the main Agenda.
  • All other sessions are available in the mobile app. To receive a copy of the session presentation slides, please navigate to the session in the NRF Events Mobile App. At the bottom of the session page, click on the Session Feedback button and complete the form to request a link to the slides. The email will be sent to the email address associated with your registration shortly after submitting the form.

I missed a session. How can I watch the session video?

  • Exhibitor Big Ideas and Foodservice Tech session videos, per speaker consent, will be available to watch in full via the NRF 2024 website immediately following the event. A limited selection of short video clips of Keynote, Featured, and Partner Perspective sessions will be posted.

Accessibility

What's available for me if I have a medical condition and need extra assistance at the show?

  • The Center has sidewalk ramps, automatic doors at all street levels, restrooms and elevators accessible for persons with mobility impairments.
  • A limited number of wheelchairs are available at no fee from the Javits Concierge Desk located in the Crystal Palace. Attendees will be required to leave a driver’s license or credit card. When the chair is returned, the license or card is returned. Reservations for manual wheelchairs can be made through the Command Center at (212) 216-2222.
  • Guide dogs and service animals are welcome at the Center provided they are leashed.

How can I be sustainable at the event?

  • You won’t need to go out of your way to be sustainable at Retail’s Big Show. Learn about the easy ways you can make an individual impact on the show’s sustainability efforts.
  • Recycling made simple: Waste is sorted by landfill and recycling. Ensure that you are making it matter by using the correct bin when discarding items.
  • Reuse and reduce: Bring a reusable water bottle or coffee mug to reduce your waste and resources footprint.
  • Be energy smart: Remember to turn off lights when leaving your hotel room and participate in your hotel’s Linen Reuse Program, which will also conserve water.
  • Sustainability Lounge: Visit the Sustainability Lounge located on Expo Level 1 for sustainable food options and a comfortable place to sit and network.
  • Moderate consumption and eat mostly plant-based foods: Take only what you need at food functions and choose to eat vegetarian at least one meal per day. This will help reduce carbon emissions associated with food production.
  • Carbon emissions and offsets: Don’t forget to affordably offset your carbon from travel to and from NRF 2024: Retail’s Big Show. Carbon credits purchased will be allocated toward community, renewable and nature-based programs.

Where is North Javits?

  • The North Javits expansion is located at 38th Street and 11th Avenue and is seamlessly integrated into the Javits Convention Center. Attendees can easily access North Javits through its entrance at the corner of 11th Avenue and 38th Street, via the North Concourse on Level 2, or through the Level 3 Expo Hall. The Keynote Sessions (Level 5) and Featured Sessions (Level 4) are held in North Javits.

Can I bring my pet?

  • If you have pets, please leave them at home. The Javits Center will not allow animals — except for service animals — into the building.

Where can I pick up items I lost at NRF 2024?

  • Absolutely! You’re welcome to take still pictures and video at NRF 2024. If you upload to social media be sure to tag @NRFNews and @NRFBigShow on X and use the official hashtag #NRF2024 on all platforms. Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Note that recording (including live-streaming apps) and flash photography are not permitted in any session rooms.

Are selfie sticks allowed?

  • Yes, selfie sticks are allowed. Be sure to tag your photos tag @NRFNews and @NRFBigShow on X and use the official hashtag #NRF2024 on all platforms.

Will I be on camera?

  • NRF 2024: Retail’s Big Show is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations and other contractors from photographing, video or audio taping some conference activities.
  • By participating in this event, each attendee understands that the National Retail Federation (“NRF”) reserves the right to use images, audio or video-recordings taken at the conference with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials in any media on a complementary basis.

Remember to be nice!

  • Please turn your cell phones off, to vibrate or to silent when you're in session rooms and remember to keep translation headsets on. If you must take or make a call, please step outside.

Is there a Coat Check?

  • There are various Coat Check stations throughout the Javits. All Coat Checks are open Sunday - Tuesday 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Price is $4.00 per item. Coat Checks are located in the below locations:

Is there Wi-Fi in the Javits?

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all public spaces except for the Expo on Levels1 and 3 and Innovation Lab, River Pavilion. To access, turn on your wireless-ready computer or mobile device and select the following:

Is there a nursing mothers' room?

  • There is a dedicated room for breast-feeding mothers located in room 1B05, Level 1. The room is always locked. The key must be picked up from and returned to the NRF Show Management Office, 1B03, Level 1. The room is equipped with electric and a refrigerator.
  • In addition, both first aid stations, located on Level 1, 1D corridor and Level 2, Atrium, North Javits, have dedicated space for breast-feeding equipped with a refrigerator and electric.

How do I purchase an Expo or Retail Store Tour?

  • You may purchase them at the Tour Desk located on Level 1, Room 1A03, at the VIP desk next to the Housing Assistance Counters, Level 2, Registration, or through the “Add-on Experiences” in your online registration record. Where are the Level 4 Exhibitor Meeting Rooms?

  • These rooms are located on Level 4, above Registration in the North Concourse. To access these rooms, take an elevator located in the Crystal Palace.

Where are the Level 2 Exhibitor Meeting Rooms?

  • These rooms are located on Level 2 near the FedEx Business Center and the Coat Check.

I am supposed to be meeting an exhibitor but can't find their meeting room. What do I do?

  • Many exhibitors have meeting rooms on the Expo. If the location does not exist within the Javits, there is a good chance it is a separate meeting room on the Expo or within their booth.

What is the Grand Prize Giveaway?

  • The Grand Prize Giveaway is a game in the mobile app for US (and D.C) retailers. Using the mobile app, retailers visit each sponsor in a prize category and scan that sponsor's QR code. Retailers can track their progress for each category in the mobile app. Once all QR codes have been scanned for a category, the retailer is automatically entered to win the prize in that category. Retailers can complete one prize category, or all five. Each category has a prize worth $5,000. Learn more here.

Where can I get my headshot?

  • Celebrity photographer Sophie Elgort and her Clickhouse colleagues will be taking celebrity-worthy headshots in Javits North, Level 5. They will be onsite Sunday - Tuesday from 10 AM - 4 PM. Scheduling will take place on-site. You must have an All-Access badge to access Level 5.

Is there a shipping center or business center onsite?

  • There is a FedEx Office on level 2 near the Coat Check and 2D meeting rooms. Below are their hours of service for 2024:
    • Mon 1/8 - Wed 1/10 from 9am - 4pm
    • Thurs 1/11 – Mon 1/15 from 9am - 5pm
    • Tue 1/16 from 9am - 6pm
    • Wed 1/17 from 9am - 4pm
