Gui Serrano currently serves as AVP of Corporate Strategy and Development at CVS Health. In this role, he is responsible for M&A, and other strategic investments.

Before reaching his current position, Gui served as a director, senior director, and Executive Director, having led acquisitions, divestitures and integrations of several companies in the specialty pharmacy, retail, PBM, and health plans sectors. In 2018, he played a key role in one of the largest transactions in healthcare history, in which CVS acquired the health plan Aetna for $78 billion.

Gui also led the sale of several businesses, including the sale of Drogaria Onofre to Raia Drogasil and Coram Acute Infusion business.

Gui has vast experience in enterprise strategy and merchandising strategy, having led the CVS Health private label brand from 2016-2018.

Mr Serrano holds an MBA from Duke University and a Master's in Genetics from Unicamp. He worked in academia for three years before moving to business overseas and finally to the USA.
