Curtis L. Wilson is Vice President & General Manager of the National Client Group for Global Merchant & Network Services American Express, United States.

Mr. Wilson leads a business unit with fifty-seven colleagues responsible for various business activities pertaining to marketing, co-branding, driving revenue growth, and delivering value American Express merchants and cardmembers.

Mr. Wilson has held various roles within the American Express Company, since joining the firm as a territory manager in 1990. He is a two-time American Express President’s Award winner in 1991 and 1997, which recognizes innovation, leadership, and overall business performance. He also is a member of the company’s hall of fame, inducted in 2013. Prior to joining American Express, he worked for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Curtis holds an BA-Marketing degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA in Finance from Morgan State University.

Curtis resides in New Jersey with his wife Deborah. They have a son and a daughter.

Curtis is a board of Trustee and Vice Chairperson of the finance committee for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, as well as a member of the Governance committee. He is an advisory board member of The Montclair African American Heritage Foundation, Inc. Determined to Educate, Inc.

Curtis is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling the world with his family.
