Suni K. Shamapande is a Principal (Partner) at PwC, where he leads the firm’s retail operations, inventory accuracy, and costing transformation consulting within the Consumer Markets Strategy, Customer, Operations, and Digital Transformation practice. He specializes in business-led, technology-enabled solutions that accelerate measurable outcomes.

Suni brings deep industry and consulting experience across global retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), e-commerce, restaurant, hospitality, and gaming sectors. His expertise spans strategic planning, end-to-end cost optimization, workforce management, operations transformation, POS operations, product lifecycle management, inventory data aggregation, product costing, shrink management, inventory unit and cost accuracy, EDI optimization, and deals consulting. He is particularly known for driving product costing methodology enhancements that improve visibility and accuracy in item-level margin and profitability reporting.

Before joining PwC, Suni held several leadership roles in the retail industry, including Operations Manager, Store Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Vice President, and Vice President. In these roles, he led initiatives in strategic planning, talent development, labor optimization, inventory costing accuracy, performance analytics, and operational excellence.
