Mike Bassani draws on a 20-year career spanning technology, product development, and operations to lead Enterprise Technology at Starbucks Coffee Company. As senior vice president of Enterprise Technology, Mike oversees engineering and product teams spanning partner (barista) tools, supply chain systems, and corporate platforms—managing a multimillion-dollar P&L and delivering solutions that power operational excellence. Known for driving transformation at the intersection of digital innovation and the movement of goods, Mike has helped accelerate enterprise-wide modernization efforts, including advancements in AI-powered forecasting, global traceability, and partner experience platforms since joining Starbucks in March 2025.  

Prior to Starbucks, Mike held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, where he led the AI Tools team within the Cloud and AI organization and oversaw supply chain technology initiatives across Azure and Power Platform. His career also spans pivotal roles at leading companies including Amazon, Nike, Convoy, and Best Buy, where he built agile, high-performing teams that delivered breakthrough solutions in supply chain and last-mile logistics. 

Mike holds multiple patents in supply chain technology and has earned recognition for his leadership in enterprise AI and digital transformation. His people-first philosophy centers on building strong relationships and fostering shared purpose to drive meaningful, lasting impact.  

Mike earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science and an MBA in Supply Chain Management. Though his career has taken him across North America, he proudly calls the Pacific Northwest—Seattle in particular—home.
