Mark Richardson is the CEO of Ocado Intelligent Automation, a division of Ocado Group. Ocado Group creates advanced logistics automation, including AI-driven robotics that power some of the world's most productive warehouses. Ocado is best known for its state of the art solutions in grocery e-commerce, but it also creates solutions in fashion retail, pharmaceutical & healthcare distribution, and third party logistics.

Mark's career, which began in software engineering in a major UK retailer, has encompassed store systems, e-commerce, operations, infrastructure and construction. As part of the team that launched and scaled Ocado in the UK, Mark ran the technology function for 10 years then as COO served on the main board for 12 years. His specialism is the intersection of automation and operations, where organizations can unlock the prize of scalability through productivity.
