Erik Vlugt has been with Ingenico since 2023, where he serves as Chief Product Officer with responsibility for the company’s global product portfolio. He also served as interim President for North America during the latter half of 2024. Erik brings more than 20 years of experience in payments, spanning global payment companies, public transportation, and quick service restaurant environments.
Prior to joining Ingenico, Erik was Senior Vice President of Product and Innovation at HM Electronics, a global provider of communication, audio, and software technologies for the hospitality industry. His work included advancing the use of Voice AI to enhance customer interactions in quick service restaurants, as well as applying Computer Vision for traffic flow insights in QSR drive-thru environments.
A native of the Netherlands, Erik is based in Atlanta.
