By combining deep industry expertise with Celonis’ market-leading process mining and execution management capabilities, he helps organizations improve supply chain resilience, optimize merchandising and store operations, strengthen customer and loyalty strategies, and deliver measurable financial impact. He works to serve as a trusted advisor—connecting strategy with execution—to enable retailers and CPG companies to thrive in an increasingly complex, omni-channel marketplace.

Prior to Celonis, Dean was Executive Director for Retail & Consumer Products for Oracle Corporation. At Oracle, he played a pivotal role in shaping strategy, driving thought leadership, and guiding top retailers in their transition to cloud-enabled enterprise applications driven by AI. Dean engaged with Oracle’s most strategic Retail & CPG clients and prospects, bringing his unique ability to “connect the dots” between business priorities and technology capabilities. His influence extended across Oracle’s sales, marketing, and design functions, where his point-of-view messaging and industry expertise became central to the company’s retail go-to-market strategy & narrative.

Prior to Oracle, Dean built and led national practices at top consulting firms including Alvarez & Marsal, Columbus Consulting, and The Palladium Group, where he successfully launched industry verticals, expanded enterprise performance management offerings, and scaled teams of consultants, technologists, and business development executives.

An entrepreneur at heart, Dean began his career founding and operating a business with multiple stores and concepts, from specialty retail to restaurants. Today, he still feeds his entrepreneurial passion as a multi-unit franchisee across various brands. This firsthand operational experience continues to inform his approach with clients, giving him a pragmatic, real-world perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing today’s retailers.
