As Global Generative AI Industry Lead for Accenture’s Retail practice, Brett Leary is at the forefront of transforming the retail industry through AI. He partners with leading retailers to navigate the fast-moving AI landscape - helping them unlock operational efficiencies and reimagine customer experiences and ways of working.
Brett brings over two decades of experience driving digital innovation. Before his role in AI, he was a leader in Accenture’s Commerce practice, helping global brands scale next-generation commerce capabilities.
Prior to Accenture, Brett played a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital marketing and retail technology. At m-Qube, a pioneer in mobile marketing and commerce, he helped lay the groundwork for mobile marketing in North America. He then spent more than a decade at Digitas, a Publicis Groupe agency, where he led strategy and innovation for commerce and mobile. He also founded the award-winning Connected Commerce Showcase, an innovation lab dedicated to blending physical and digital retail experiences.
Brett holds a B.A. from Hobart College, M.B.A. from Babson College and a Generative AI executive certification from MIT. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Wharton AI & Analytics Initiative.
