Algolia
Stephen Lynch is the Chief Executive Officer of Algolia – the industry-leading AI search and retrieval platform. He is a product and technology leader with two decades of experience building and scaling AI-driven software for the world’s most demanding organizations.
Stephen joined AlphaSense in 2018 and spent eight years helping grow it from a high-potential startup into the category leader in AI-powered market intelligence. During his tenure, ARR grew 40x to more than $600 million – serving more than 6,000 enterprises worldwide, including 88% of the S&P 100, 80% of the world’s largest banks, and all 20 of the largest global pharmaceutical companies.
As EVP of Product Development, Stephen led AlphaSense’s global product, design, and engineering organizations through $1.7B in funding, major platform expansions, and four strategic acquisitions. As General Manager and EVP of Enterprise, he then built the Enterprise Intelligence business from the ground up and scaled it into one of the company’s fastest-growing segments.
Stephen began his career as a frontend developer and holds a BFA from Syracuse University. That blend of design and engineering shapes how he builds intelligent, user-centered software.

Commerce has a new customer – and it isn’t human. Shopping agents are beginning to compare, decide and buy at machine speed and volume. They don’t browse – they read your data. And when an agent evaluates your catalog, speed alone isn’t enough – it needs to trust that your data is true. One stale price, phantom inventory count or hallucinated attribute can remove you from consideration.
This panel goes inside the intelligence layer that makes commerce agent-ready – enriched & verified product data, real-time pricing & availability, taxonomy machines can reason over, and governed endpoints that ground every answer in evidence. Leave with a practical definition of “agent-ready” – and why the next share shift in retail may be decided there.
