Smita Katakwar

Smita Katakwar is Senior Vice President of Technology at Wegmans Food Markets, where her team is responsible for defining technical strategies and delivering immersive customer and employee experiences. Her responsibilities also include managing the Data & Architecture groups to create a future-ready enterprise architecture. Previously, she was Vice President of Digital at BJ's Wholesale Club, and before that, she was Director of Innovation & Strategy at Sears. Her team at Sears was awarded a patent in Smart Home Service & Delivery concept. She holds a master's degree in information system management from Carnegie Mellon University, where she graduated with the highest distinction and holds a patent in home delivery concepts.
