Sayed Habib

Sayed Habib is CEO of Danube Home, one of the fastest-growing home improvement and lifestyle retail brands in the Middle East, with operations across the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar and a growing e-commerce footprint reaching into Saudi Arabia.

His path to the corner office began on the shop floor. Over 17 years with Danube Home, he built deep expertise as a furniture category buyer before taking on full P&L ownership of the business, and now leads the company's Executive Committee across logistics, e-commerce, finance, IT and regional operations. Before Danube Home, he worked as a Regional Manager at HDFC Bank in India, handling working capital loans, before moving to Dubai and joining Danube Home in its early stages.

Today, Habib is driving a digital-first, customer-obsessed strategy for Danube Home, scaling AI and data-led decision-making across the business as part of a mandate to build a billion-dirham brand. He believes people build companies, not the other way around, and that in retail, how you make people feel matters as much as what you sell.
