Miguel Almeida is Nordstrom’s president of digital and customer experience. Miguel and his team are responsible for Nordstrom.com, Nordstromrack.com and the company-wide customer experience strategy across all channels, both online and in-stores. Since joining the company in 2020, Miguel has been instrumental in driving the company’s digital growth while continuing to build on Nordstrom’s legacy of customer service by creating a more seamless user experience and enhanced discovery across all customer touchpoints.
Prior to Nordstrom, Miguel led Starbucks’s Digital team and was responsible for the design, product management and technology of the Starbucks industry leading mobile app. Before Starbucks, he was the executive vice president of digital at lululemon athletica, where he ignited the company’s digital transformation and built a new digital platform to drive growth. He has also held a number of leadership roles at notable companies such as Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc., Apple Inc., Dell Inc. and the Boston Consulting Group.
He has a Licentiate degree in Business Management from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is a dual citizen of the United States and Portugal. In his spare time, Miguel is an athlete and adventurer. He is an avid skier, mountain bike cyclist and runner, and is frequently seeking mountain adventures across the pacific northwest.
