Debra works at the intersection of retail, fashion, and technology, investing in and advising commerce ventures worldwide. She is a Partner at CAPTIS Ventures, a UK-based platform that backs innovators across sports, fashion, and culture; an Advisor to Capitalize VC, which invests in retail-tech, commerce enablement and the creator economy; and Senior Advisor to Human Equity Capital Partners, an investor and operating partner across longevity, lifestyle, fashion, and enabling technologies. She was previously a Venture Partner at Lyra Ventures, supporting next-generation retail technology in fashion. Across these roles, she bridges investment insight with operating experience, guiding founders, funds, and boards on commercial models, market mechanics, and consumer behavior.
Debra’s board and advisory roles also extend across major industry and public institutions, including WRAP, the US non-profit ensuring social compliance in apparel manufacturing; DesignSingapore Council, Singapore’s national agency for design; the National Retail Federation (NRF) Innovation Advisory Council and APAC Advisory Board. Earlier in her career, she served as President of DKNY JEANS International, leading all non-US markets; President APAC for Borderlinx, a global e-commerce enabler; and co-founder, with philanthropist Michael Milken, of a health and wellness platform.
Debra holds New Zealand and US citizenship, and Singapore Permanent Residency.
