Retail has been in Ashley Hudson’s veins since he began working in the industry at just 15 years old. What started on the shop floor developed into a career dedicated to understanding, championing and advancing the people and businesses that power retail.

Ashley spent eight years helping build Retail Global into APAC’s premier retail community and event, including the evolution of Retail Fest. More than a conferencing company, Retail Global became a connector and driving force for retail across Australia and New Zealand, bringing together everyone from ambitious start-ups to the region’s largest enterprise retailers. It created a trusted community where like-minded professionals could share knowledge openly, tackle challenges together and support the continued growth of the industry.

Today, Ashley supports the industry globally as Managing Director of Global Events at B2B eCommerce World. He brings together senior leaders from manufacturers, distributors and technology companies to exchange ideas, build meaningful relationships and navigate the rapidly evolving world of digital commerce.

Having experienced retail from the inside, Ashley understands its pressures, pace and extraordinary capacity for innovation. From serving customers at 15 to building international communities around commerce, retail has never simply been Ashley’s profession. It has been the constant thread running through his career.
