With over 14 years of experience in ecommerce and retail, he has focused on modernizing The Vitamin Shoppe's digital capabilities and creating innovative omnichannel experiences in the health and wellness space.
Uman's career has spanned various technology roles, giving him a unique perspective on solving complex technical challenges. At The Vitamin Shoppe, he has worked to transform the company's digital capabilities and create technology solutions that enhance how it serves its customers.
Uman is a technologist at heart and has held a variety of roles throughout his career. He started out as a systems engineer for a defense company doing high level system design, before shifting to low-level/kernel level software engineering, later to a financial software consultant, and eventually into ecommerce.
