His first book-Remarkable Retail: How to Win & Keep Customers in the Age of Disruption--is the bestselling retail strategy book of the past decade.

Prior to founding his own consulting firm, he spent more than two decades in senior leadership roles in retail and consumer products, most recently as the Chief Strategy Officer and SVP of Multichannel Marketing at the Neiman Marcus Group.

Steve received his BA in economics from Tufts University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
