Shelley Bransten works as Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Industry Solutions at Microsoft – a global, cross-industry role focused on helping customers to accelerate their AI transformations and reimagine their businesses with Microsoft. Shelley is a passionate customer advocate with an eye for simplifying complexity. Prior to her current role she led the global retail, consumer goods & gaming businesses at Microsoft where she oversaw groundbreaking partnerships with leading companies across the globe.
Before Microsoft, Shelley launched business solutions that addressed challenges facing the retail industry as SVP of Retail & CG at Salesforce, and spent 16 years at Gap, Inc. running CRM and digital marketing for all their brands.
Shelley sits on the board of the National Retail Federation (NRF) and Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA). She is also a member of the Greycroft GTM (Go-To-Market) Council a group of experienced sales, marketing, & customer experience leaders who provide feedback and advice to Greycroft-backed companies.
Shelley earned an MBA at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish at Duke University.
Mom to 2 teenage boys (never a dull moment) and Flash the dog (who sometimes listens,) she enjoys vinyasa power yoga, hiking and is a
long time resident of San Francisco.
