Shekhar Gowda is the Vice President of Global Marketing Technology at The Coca-Cola Company. He oversees the company's marketing technology & data strategy, products, platforms, architecture, product development, and deployment for both global and operating units. 

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, Shekhar Gowda was Senior Vice President of Technology at MRM McCann, part of IPG, from 2010. He managed digital transformation and customer experience solutions for Fortune 100 clients and established the Adobe Center of Excellence for McCann/IPG. Earlier, he led architecture and product development teams for clients like General Motors Corporation and Dialog Direct.

Before his tenure at MRM McCann, Gowda's contributions at General Motors Corporation and Dialog Direct were marked by his ability to lead diverse teams through the intricate processes of architecture design and product development. His strategic insights and hands-on management style enabled these organizations to achieve their goals, optimize their processes, and deliver superior products to their customers. These experiences have equipped him with a robust skill set and a proven track record of driving technological advancements and fostering innovation across various industries.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Gowda lives with his family and holds an impressive academic background. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from the University of Mysore, followed by a master’s in computer science and engineering from Oakland University and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Currently, his interests include secure and scalable marketing and advertising platforms, consumer data platforms, content supply chain, automation and prediction machines, and human-computer interactions.
