Randy is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Business Finance. He is a former LAPD officer, having served in the Gang, Narcotics, and SWAT units. After his law enforcement career, Randy transitioned to Computer Vision and Analytics, where he has accumulated 22 years of experience.
Early in his career, Randy worked as a National Account Manager, collaborating with global partners and customers in both commercial and retail sectors. He focused on Fortune 1000 accounts, large enterprises, state and local governments and leveraged his expertise to address Organized Retail Crime –ORC. Before joining Dell Technologies, Randy oversaw operations in the Americas for an intelligent storage and scale-out solutions company.
Currently, Randy manages the Computer Vision AI and Retail teams globally for Dell Technologies.

This session will highlight how Lowe’s has created digital twins of their stores, combined with planograms to optimize merchandising. It has created a store companion app using Generative AI to ensure store associates deliver the best in-store customer shopping experience. And finally using computer vision, Lowe’s is improving the customer checkout experience.
