Rachel Jarrett is the President and Chief Operation Officer at Zola, the wedding company reinventing the wedding planning and registry experience by combining compassionate customer service with modern tools and technology. Since its launch in 2013, Zola has simplified wedding planning for over 2 million couples on their journey from engagement to newlywed life. Zola has been named one of the Wall Street Journal’s Top 25 Tech Companies to Watch and one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies. Rachel is a seasoned executive with an extensive background working at both traditional retail companies and ecommerce start-ups. She oversees many departments at Zola, including strategic growth, merchandising, finance, and operations.

Prior to Zola, Rachel was the General Manager of Baby & Kids at Gilt Groupe. She also held senior positions at Barnes & Noble.com, FAO Schwarz, and Babies “R” Us and Toys “R” Us. She is recognized across the retail industry for her ability to successfully implement strategic growth plans, drive sales and margin, and lead digital and ecommerce transformations. Rachel also advises on several startups, and is on the Board of Directors for KidPass, a kids activities booking site. Rachel holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She earned her BA in International Relations and an MA in International Economics and American Foreign Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
