Phil Graves


Head of Corporate Development
Mr. Graves leads Patagonia’s corporate development team, Worn Wear resale division, and Tin Shed Ventures investment arm. His uncommonly talented team plays a key role in Patagonia’s strategy, innovation, and fulfilling its mission of using business to save our home planet.

He serves as board member for Bureo (products from recycled fishing nets), Mango Materials (biodegradable plastic from methane), and the U.C. Berkeley-Haas Center for Responsible Business. Prior to Patagonia, he spent a decade as a corporate finance and valuation consultant with Deloitte and PwC.

Mr. Graves earned his MS Finance degree from Texas A&M University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and is a recipient of the GCV Powerlist 100 Fund Manager and Texas A&M Young Alumni Spotlight awards.

Outside of work he loves exploring parts unknown with his wife, three daughters, and bird dog Crockett.
