In his 17th year at Amazon, Peter leads Amazon’s Externalized Fulfillment business, including Multi-Channel Fulfillment and Buy with Prime. Both solutions enable brands to use Amazon’s logistics network to store, pack, and ship their orders from any of their sales channels. The team includes sales, marketing, operations, and software product development.

Previously, Peter was a leader in Amazon Transportation Services, serving as the end-to-end business leader including operations, research science, and product development for Amazon’s line haul logistics network. Peter was also the software/hardware product development leader and global business owner of Amazon Shipping, Amazon Lockers, and Amazon Key.

Peter started his career at Amazon on the Devices team, where he was part of the leadership team that led the creation and launch of multiple generations of Kindle e-readers, Fire tablets, Fire TVs, the Amazon Kids content subscription service, as well as the Dash instant replenishment products.

Prior to Amazon, Peter was the CEO of Enpocket, one of the first mobile advertising startups, which was sold to Nokia in 2007. At the beginning of his career, Peter worked at a technology startup in Japan for several years, moved to Apple as a product manager, and then to Liberate Technologies, an interactive TV startup that went public.

Peter lives in Seattle WA (after stops in Tokyo, NYC, Palo Alto, and London) with his wife, Miki, teenage daughter, Luli, and bernedoodle Naia
