Paul Hughes is a Research Director leading IDC's Future Enterprise Connectivity Strategies. He is also a key member of IDC's larger Worldwide Telecom Research Team. In this role, Paul is responsible for research related to the future innovation and transformation of how data and connectivity impact people, things, applications, and processes used by enterprises and end users. Within the research practice, he also publishes thought leadership on how the connectivity ecosystem – including communications service providers, cloud providers network equipment vendors, IT hardware vendors, software vendors and systems integrators – must develop solutions to meet future technology needs of mid-market businesses and enterprises.
Paul brings over 25 years of experience in telecommunications services, software, and digital transformation research, product marketing and strategy to IDC.
