Patrick Harding

Patrick Harding is the Chief Product Architect for Ping Identity, responsible for product innovation, emerging technologies, architecture and identity standards. A distinguished identity leader, Harding has over 25 years experience in the security and identity industry. His current focus areas include emerging capabilities such as Decentralized Identity, Verifiable Credentials, Generative AI, and Identity Threat Detection. He is actively involved in the standards community as a con-inventor of SCIM, a former board member of the Information Card Foundation, and the Open Identity Exchange, and also currently represents Ping on the Open Wallet Foundation. His previous industry experience includes financial services, travel services, blockchain and security consulting. Mr. Harding has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
