Marigay McKee

Co-Founder and General Partner
Fernbrook Capital Management LLC
Marigay has over 20 years of senior operating experience at the pinnacle of luxury retailing. After launching her career at Estée Lauder in Europe, Marigay joined Harrods, the preeminent luxury retailer in London. Over 15 years, she helped to develop and execute the buying and product strategy for the store, advancing from Group Fashion Director to become the store’s Chief Merchant.

Harrods attracted a greater share of luxury clients through the implementation of her strategic vision and direction on exclusivity. In 2013, after a long and successful career at Harrods, Marigay moved to New York to become the President of Saks Fifth Avenue. At Saks, (2013/2015) she evolved a new vision for the iconic retailer's luxury and positioning platform, new branding, marketing and packaging development, and a luxury launch platform for new brands.

She founded MMLuxe Consulting soon after working with Related, Blackstone and Value Retail in a retail advisory capacity. They are all clients today. She subsequently co-founded Fernbrook Capital Management in 2016 (alongside) as a result of seeing so many new consumer brands at inception stage that needed capital and strategic advisory to grow. She has been actively investing for the last four years at venture stage in tech and consumer brands with 30 companies in the Fernbrook portfolio today.

In addition to leading both the investment and strategic advisory businesses from New York, Marigay serves on the Board of Directors of The Shed, New York's newest arts center and is an international trade ambassador for the UK’s Great Campaign as well as a non exec for the BFC (British Fashion Council).
