Marie Driscoll is a highly experienced and respected industry analyst focusing on apparel brands, apparel retailers, and luxury goods. She has served in key analytical and business development roles in leading financial research firms. Marie was recognized three times in The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” analyst survey, including first place ranking for stock selection in the Clothing & Accessories industry.
Marie has been a part of Coresight Research since 2014 as a consultant to the firm and joined on a permanent basis as Managing Director, Luxury & Fashion in 2018. Marie is a noted subject matter expert and researcher in fashion, in particular luxury goods, works directly with Coresight’s retail and brand clients, is frequently quoted in the press and speaks at industry events.
This fall she is teaching Funding Beauty and Fashion at Parsons, The New School. Marie started Driscoll Advisors late in 2011 to provide consulting services to academia, industry, investors and non-profits. She has contributed content to The Robin Report, Sourcing Journal and ICSC publications and consulted with Shoptalk. As a thought leader, her contributions include white papers for CohnReznick, Luxury Daily and Deloitte’s Global Powers of Luxury Goods 2014, and content development at LIM College.
Previously (2003-2011) she was with Standard & Poor’s equity research department as Director of Consumer Discretionary Retail, leading a team of five analysts responsible for about 140 equities spanning department and specialty stores, discounters and mass merchants as well as restaurants, housing and furniture stocks.
