Kara Swisher is the editor at large of Recode, the business and technology brand from Vox Media; host of the Recode Decode podcast, a bi-weekly interview series with the most influential business leaders; and co-executive producer of the Code Conference, a premiere series that hosts hard-hitting interviews with the media and tech industry’s leading players. Kara is the host of Revolution, a conversation series bringing together leading thinkers across technology, business and politics, produced in partnership with Recode and MSNBC and airing on MSNBC. She is also an NBC and New York Times contributor.

Previously, Swisher covered digital issues at the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal. She is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and Columbia University’s School of Journalism. She is the author, most recently, of There Must Be a Pony in Here Somewhere: The AOL Time Warner Debacle and the Quest for a Digital Future and a contributor to Vanity Fair.
