Jo Ling Kent is a NBC News correspondent covering business, technology and general news. Prior to NBC News, Jo was a reporter at Fox Business Network and investigative reporter at NBC Connecticut, where she was a member of the reporting team awarded a Peabody for coverage of the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy. She covered the 2012 president race as a campaign embed for NBC News. Jo also worked in China for five years, first as a Fulbright Scholar, then for ABC News and CNN. She earned a dual masters in international affairs from LSE and Peking University and a BA from Rice. Jo speaks Mandarin and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
