The Aisle
Jason Del Rey is the founder and author of The Aisle, the definitive independent media company covering the AI era of commerce. He was previously technology correspondent at Fortune, where he continues to co-chair the Fortune Brainstorm Tech and Fortune Brainstorm AI conferences.
He has spent more than a dozen years covering the intersection of technology and commerce, building deep sourcing across retail’s C-suite and Silicon Valley alike. He's the author of Winner Sells All: Amazon, Walmart, and the Battle for Our Wallets, which was a 2023 finalist for the annual Best in Business Book Award.
Previously, at Recode, Del Rey founded and executive-produced Code Commerce, a live journalism event series featuring unscripted interviews with the most influential executives and entrepreneurs innovating at the intersection of technology and commerce. He also co-developed and hosted the hit narrative podcast Land of the Giants: The Rise of Amazon, which documented Jeff Bezos's empire-building and its impact on hundreds of millions of people across the globe.
Del Rey was previously named by the National Retail Federation as one of the "25 People Shaping Retail's Future." His work and expertise have been featured on CNBC, CNN, NPR, Pivot, Fox Business, C-SPAN, and Business Wars.
