A former tenured professor at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, he holds a Ph.D. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and is an MIT Fellow at the Data Science Institute.
A leading researcher for over 25 years in retail forecasting, inventory optimization, and assortment optimization, Gurhan has earned accolades such as the Best Paper Award in Management Science and R&D Pioneer of the Year.
