Inspired by the creative world of visual experience at a young age, Giovanni Zaccariello has spent over 20 years in the fashion industry revolutionizing the world of Visual Experience.
Originally from Italy and graduating from Oxford with a 1st Class Honors Master’s Degree in Business & Branding, Giovanni has traveled the world residing in the UK before moving to Holland and Hong Kong for various professional opportunities.
Gio joined Coach 14 years ago. In 2014, after 4 years in Hong Kong, Giovanni relocated to New York to lead the Global Visual Merchandising team. His level of responsibilities have consistently increased and for the past 4 years he has been the Senior Vice President, Global Visual Experience where he leads Visual Merchandising, 3D studio (designing windows, showrooms, and pop-ups), the Brand Events team, including the design and production of the fashion shows & Digital Experience. Under his leadership, Coach has been nominated for several accolades & awards in the world of design, retail and experience. Giovanni has also led for the past 5 years a partnership with WindowsWear to support young talent, creating a visual experience mentorship and internship program. Giovanni was named Vogue Business 1/100 Innovators this past September under the tec category.
Alongside his current professional role, Giovanni is an avid exercise enthusiast – passionate about health and fitness he trains daily & is a big SoulCycle fan. He also enjoys the finest coffee shops in New York City – a place with which he has fallen in love and calls his forever home. Coming from a small village in Italy, Giovanni is very passionate about freedom of expression when it comes to LGBTQ+ both at Tapestry and his personal life.
