Eric Caballero is the GM of the Disney Movie Club and a Vice President within Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) business, which oversees the upcoming Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service, the Company’s ownership stake in Hulu, and the ESPN+ sports streaming service, programmed in partnership with ESPN. Caballero works within DTCI’s Global Sales & Operations managing global distribution of film and TV content as well as Movies Anywhere.

Prior to Disney, Eric Caballero was a Vice President at Amazon, where he leveraged data science, user experience, and customer journeys to grow customer lifetime value across subscriptions (Audible, Music, Prime, Video) and devices (Alexa and Fire). While at Amazon, Caballero specialized in developing highly-personalized customer membership programs globally that fuel incremental purchasing on the Amazon website as well as its suite of mobile apps and consumer devices such as Alexa and Fire TVs. Caballero was one of a group of experts within Amazon that used machine learning to optimize customer ID targeting and content personalization.

Prior to Amazon, Caballero was responsible for driving growth initiatives and brand strategy for Kaplan, SAP, and Boeing. He cut his teeth in entrepreneurship in the late 90s as software engineer turned growth hacker working for Netscape’s Jim Clark on Shutterfly.

Caballero received his M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UCLA. He resides in Los Angeles and is passionate about Autism awareness.
