Elaine Parr is the Vice President of Consumer Industries for IBM Consulting. Elaine is a deep Consumer Products sector expert having worked with the leading companies in every sub-sector (including ABI, adidas, BAT, Diageo, GSK, Heineken, Kellogg, Kraft-Heinz, Mondelēz, Nestlé, P&G, Unilever) on a wide range of issues and solutions including Operating Model, Digital Transformation, Shared Services and Supply Chain Reinvention, tackling topics such as Brexit Readiness, Acquisition Integration, Integrated Business Planning and Trading Relationships, all underpinned by data, analytics and technology.
Elaine is an experienced C-Suite adviser to the Consumer Products sector. She focuses on building client relationships, understanding their business and bringing the very best of the sector and of her business to her clients, working together to build even better businesses.
Elaine has a client side and consultancy background – and a degree in Biochemistry, an MBA, a Diploma of Marketing and is a Chartered Marketer. As a life-long advocate of STEM, her return to IBM in 2021 was an important career move, to a technology leader and perpetual innovator.
Elaine is proud to be a founding member, the sponsoring partner and Champion of the LEAD network, advancing gender parity in Consumer Products and Retail; which now boasts over 7000 individual and nearly 40 corporate members across Europe. She is also a business and career coach at a number of girls' schools.
Elaine challenges herself every year to raise monies for charity including Macmillan Cancer Support, The Motor Neurone Disease Association, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and The EY Foundation with sponsorship for The London Marathon, The London City Swim, a 200 mile Sahara Trek Challenge and Walking The Great Wall of China.
