Doug Herrington

Doug Herrington has served as CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores since 2022. He leads Amazon's retail business worldwide—all the online, mobile, and physical stores where customers shop, and the global operations and fulfillment network that delivers their orders. He joined Amazon in 2005 to launch its consumables business and was named senior vice president of North America Consumer in 2015.

Doug is passionate about building and innovating. He has led teams that invented services such as Subscribe and Save, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Business, Alexa Shopping, and Buy with Prime. More recently, Doug and his teams have launched Alexa for Shopping, Amazon’s personalized AI shopping assistant, Same-Day perishable grocery delivery, and Amazon Now, Amazon’s 30-minute delivery service.
