Founder & CEO
Clare V.
After noticing a lack of functional yet stylish laptop cases while working as a journalist for French TV, Clare Vivier decided to create her own line of handbags and accessories. Since 2008, Vivier has cultivated an identifiable aesthetic all her own, recognized worldwide as a style influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers across social media. After more than a decade, the Clare V. brand has grown to include 14 physical retail locations, over 100 wholesale partners around the globe, and a robust ecommerce business.
Recognized for her contributions to the fashion community, Vivier is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the Female Founder Collective. As an industry leader, Vivier has been asked to speak at the Harvard Business School Women in Business Summit, TEDx, panels including In Good Company, the Create & Cultivate Conference, and numerous podcasts focusing on entrepreneurship. Under Vivier’s guidance, Clare V. has dedicated efforts to giving back to the causes that most resonate with the brand, forging lasting partnership with Planned Parenthood, The Center for Reproductive Rights, Everytown For Gun Safety, When We All Vote, and Every Mother Counts, on whose Founders Circle Board Vivier currently sits. Though the brand is known for its French roots, the importance of Vivier’s own Mexican heritage continues to figure prominently—Vivier was most recently asked to become a member of She Se Puede, an organization focused on helping Latinas realizing and acting on their own power.
