Cinzia Amadio joined Silversea in 2015 as Business Development Director for the cruise line’s Expedition product, moving into the Marketing team in 2017 and quickly rising to lead the department, overseeing the Brand’s marketing strategy and company-wide goals. Amadio is now a key member of Silversea’s senior leadership team, contributing vision, a solid business strategy, and a long-term growth plan. She credits this success to her unconventional background in computer science engineering, which provides her with a strong analytical, technological, and process-focused acumen. Spearheading Silversea’s demand generation efforts Amadio’s vision has proven key in supporting Silversea’s growth during a period of rapid expansion. Among her most noteworthy accomplishments, she has expanded the marketing department’s data capabilities with integrated online and offline key performance indicators to map marketing cost at the booking level; overseen the Marketing team’s successful reorganization to strengthen its global and centralized approach; and introduced a robust measurement framework to support the effective deployment of the team’s resources. Additionally, Amadio has consolidated the Brand’s luxury positioning and strengthened its media approach, which led to the launch of the cruise line’s first-ever television campaign in 2021, and devised and implemented a revamped loyalty program to increase the retention of Silversea’s customer base. Before joining Silversea, Amadio spent almost 15 years in the Information and Telecommunication Technology field, where she held roles spanning from Software Development to I.T. Project Management, Sales, and Marketing.
