Candace Craig Bulishak is a transformative force in the beauty industry with over 20 years of expertise in marketing communications and brand strategy. As President and Chief Marketing Officer of Tarte Cosmetics, she drives groundbreaking initiatives for the multi-million-dollar prestige makeup brand, which has become an iconic name in over 60 countries worldwide.
Joining Tarte in 2006 as the 10th employee, Bulishak has been instrumental in propelling the brand to the forefront of the industry. Her strategic oversight helped Tarte rise to America’s #1 concealer brand and a social media sensation. As CMO, she has championed innovation at every level, from pioneering digital strategies to exploring AI technology to redefine consumer engagement and personalization. In 2020, she assumed the role of President, where she partners closely with Founder and CEO Maureen Kelly to shape corporate policies and guide the strategic direction of Tarte, managing high-level business operations and global expansion. Bulishak also sits on Tarte’s Board of Directors and is Secretary of heart to tarte, the brand’s non-profit that supports anti-cyberbullying, environmental conservation, disaster relief, and women's health initiatives.
A sought-after speaker, Bulishak is celebrated for her thought leadership and impact-driven approach, sharing her insights on brand innovation, creator relationships, and consumer engagement at industry events. She is a member of Cosmetic Executive Women and Chief and holds a B.S. in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Bulishak lives in New York City with her husband, Greg, and their three children, Roman, Sloane, and Harlow.
