Brent Mitchell is Vice President, Social Media and Influencers for Sephora North America. In this role, he oversees the retailer’s social media and influencer strategies, including the development of inclusive content that focuses on engaging Sephora’s diverse community via its assorted social channels to ensure that clients always have access to the latest beauty content, trends, and news.
Since joining Sephora in 2021, Brent has headed social media launch campaigns for highly anticipated brands such as, Haus Labs and Glossier. He also oversees the Sephora Squad influencer program. Created in 2019, Sephora Squad is a partnership with a rotating ensemble of inspiring creators, artists, storytellers, and beauty enthusiasts who have a diverse range of interests and points of view.
Additionally, Brent has also expanded Sephora’s online community efforts through initiatives such as, Hearts Not Hate, which is a series of social media community guidelines that help the retailer create spaces for respectful discussion and lend the opportunity to highlight inclusion and applaud beauty in all forms.
He has a longstanding career in the retail and entertainment industries. Prior to joining Sephora, Brent oversaw E!’s consumer brand strategy and marketing efforts for series and programming. Before E!, he served in marketing and advertising roles developing Old Navy’s highly successful global marketing campaigns. Brent lives in Los Angeles, California.
