Alia is the Head of Creative and Digital Strategy for McCormick and Company, North America. She leads a multifaceted team and is responsible for digital strategy, content, creative campaigns, CRM, owned platforms, social media and emerging technology across McCormick’s portfolio of brands. She leads the creative; digital teams and designs creative experiences for the 129 year old flavor company.

Prior to joining McCormick, Alia led IKEA U.S. through a digital makeover resulting in an increase in omnichannel traffic and sales. She developed IKEA’s social media strategy in the U.S. and is responsible for developing and launching several content marketing series including IKEA’s Easy to Assemble, Fix This Kitchen and the IKEA Home Tour. Additionally she has worked for Whole Foods Market, and Nike. Her work has won multiple industry awards She was previously recognized as an advertising Working Mother of the Year by Adverting Women of New York and as a 40 Under 40 top marketer.
