Sandra Di Capua, a 10-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has had a lifelong passion for food. Upon moving to New York after college, she joined the dining room team at Eleven Madison Park. There, she began as a coat check and worked her way up through the ranks, eventually becoming the project manager. She worked on the purchase of Eleven Madison Park from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, assisted in the development and opening the food and beverage programs at the NoMad Hotel, and helped to write, edit, and publish Eleven Madison Park: The Cookbook and I Love NY: Ingredients and Recipes. She went on to join Anthony Rudolf at Journee where she worked on special projects and together they founded Co.create NYC, a collaborative development firm which brings authentic hospitality to experiential retail. They launched their first project, Kellogg's NYC, in July of 2016. Together with Kellogg's, they conceptualized, developed, and built their first-ever cafe located in the heart of New York's Times Square. They operate the store on a day-to-day basis, showcasing Kellogg's beloved cereals and delivering them in innovative ways, all with an eye towards providing genuine hospitality. A graduate of Harvard College, Sandra was born in Bogota, Colombia, grew up in Miami, FL, and currently resides in Manhattan.
