Greg Petro founded First Insight based on a commitment to removing the distance between consumers and retailers. Since founding the company in 2007, Greg has grown First Insight from an initial concept to what is now the world’s leading high speed testing platform for retail. Greg Petro is a source that can speak to retail business models, planning and optimization systems, and the use of technology in today’s retail world. Greg has been published in Forbes Magazine, Fortune Magazine and The Financial Times, and he speaks at the graduate business schools of both Columbia University and and the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to founding First Insight, Greg developed retail supply chain best practices, processes and applications during his tenure at i2 Technologies, where he served as both Strategic Account Executive and Solution Architect. Prior to i2 Technologies, Greg spent over 15 years in the retail industry with leaders such as Macy’s, Bradlees and Saks Fifth Avenue in a number of merchandise management and strategic operations roles.
