Elizabeth Holmes is a senior style reporter and columnist for The Wall Street Journal, covering fashion, beauty, and retail trends.

During her tenure at the WSJ, she has hosted the how-to series #THIS. w/ Elizabeth Holmes, found on, YouTube and Aol. Prior to her current position, Ms. Holmes was a member of the corporate reporting group, focusing primarily on apparel brands. Ms. Holmes covered the 2008 presidential campaign from the Journal's Washington, D.C. office, reporting on the primary bid of Mitt Romney and the general election campaign of John McCain and Sarah Palin. She joined the Journal in 2006 as a reporting assistant on the Marketplace section.

Ms. Holmes graduated magna cum laude from St. Olaf College in Minnesota with a degree in English and economics, and received a master’s degree in journalism with honors from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
